Oklahoma
Richard Fowler came to Laurens Co., SC in about 1762. He died before 1800. He was the son of Godfrey II and Sarah ( ? ) Fowler. Richard md. Debby ( ? ). More information on this family can be found in the book, Annals, by Mrs. James Joyce Arthur. If anyone has a copy of this book and would be willing to do some look ups, please let me know. Primarily, I'm wondering if this Richard was the father of Rebecca and Alice who both married Bartons. I'd also like any information on those two Barton lines, and am interested in finding out if this Richard Fowler was related to another Richard Fowler who bought land from Moses Barton (land that had belonged to James Barton, Sr.) in Pendleton Dist., SC. .
