I am looking for ancestors of my grandfather, Cloud Thrasher Barton. Born in Bell County, TX, his family came from Farmerville, LA. They left about the time of the Civil War.

Cloud (Which he hated) married Rose Carrigan and they had 7 children, William, Woodrow, C.T., Laura, Mary, Ava and Faye.

My Bartons went from Floyd Co., GA,  to Randolph? Co., GA and then on to La. They started in Union Parish, La and ended up in Sardis, Louisiana. My grandfather [Isaac] was born there and my gt-grandfather died in Sardis.
