Grandma Sargent was a Barton. Her name was Addie J. Barton.  She married George Washington Sargent and she is buried beside him in Resthaven cemetery in Corbin, Ky. following is a list of her relatives buried in Hart cemetery:

• Roscoe Sargent (son) has a stone but he was buried somewhere in Harlan County. His name is actually Lawson as Addie was married before grandpa to a Lawson and had a son named Roscoe.

Her son Walter Sargent is buried beside her in Resthaven and her son George W. Sargent is also buried at Resthaven. She has two children living R.C. Sargent (known as Tommy) and Cathrine Sargent.

My grandfather was George Barton of Whitley Co.
Md. (1)   ?    Md. (2) Mary Alice Monhollen (my grandmother)
He died in 1947 and was buried in Hart Cemetery, Corbin, KY.

My ancestor is: William Barton Gilreath  b. Wilkes Co., NC in 1803

The family moved to Whitley Co., KY prior to 1830. He married Dorcas Hoyle @1830. They had the following children:

William Barton died in 1852 in Martin Co. IN. Don't know what happened to Dorcas after her husband died. She wasn't living in Martin Co. IN when the will was probated.
