Posted by Cal Barton cal@connect.net on October 28, 1998 at 15:38:53: I am looking for the link between my gg-grandfather, Robert Marion Barton, and Benjamin Barton (wife Dorcas Anderson) of Pickens District, S.C. Robert Marion was born in Clayton County, GA (formerly Henry County) in 1844. He fought in the Civil War and moved to Rusk County, Texas in 1867. I think his father's name was Thomas H. Barton and I am almost sure he descends from Benjamin. Has anyone any information on this connection? Thanks to all. Cal Barton Dallas, Texas
