David Barton, son of Thomas and Bethire (Williamson) Barton md. Nancy Rutherford.  Two of their children were:

I regret to say, I don't know where I got this information...possibly from one of the Barton Bulletins.  As I continue to study my notes, I find a reference to the will of David Barton and other data in the Reunion Edition of the 1975 Barton Bulletin.

I don't know how accurate any of this information is, but perhaps this will give you some clues for your continuing search.
