Jerry,
According to my hard copy notes, I have the following:
David Barton, son of Thomas and Bethire (Williamson) Barton md. Nancy Rutherford. Two of their children were:
I regret to say, I don't know where I got this information...possibly from one of the Barton Bulletins. As I continue to study my notes, I find a reference to the will of David Barton and other data in the Reunion Edition of the 1975 Barton Bulletin.
From another source I show the following children for David and Bethire:
I don't know how accurate any of this information is, but perhaps this will give you some clues for your continuing search. Others from the Thomas Barton clan have contributed to this web site. Some of their information conflicts with a number of Thomas Barton family trees I've studied. Perhaps all of you descendants can do some investigating to pin down the facts, then let me know so I can make corrections to the data. To review the biggest contribution to the Thomas Barton clan on this site, see Stafford County, Virginia. Also, Prince William County, Virginia has a good summary of the ancestral Thomases.
