PUTNAM COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA

Descendants of George Washington "Watt" Barton settled here.  His son, William Barton, (b. ca 1831) md. Margaret Clark and resided in Russell Co., VA.  Their son, William M. "Willie" Barton, moved to Putnam Co., WVA.
