5. James H. Polk (b. 1845 GA/d. Bef 1885 TX) m. 8 JUl 1867 Panola Co, TX Dorcus A. Latham (I follow this line for       research)
6. Hopkins b 1848 GA m. 30 Oct 1867 Panola Co, TX Hannah J. Latham

James was in Hall Co in 1830, Murray in 1840 and Rusk CO. TX in 1850. Have not found him after that. Still working on him.

James Barton was the brother of Stephen.
