The heirs of Capt. Peter Moore be allowed land because he was a Capt. in Vir.
Bourbon Co., KY.  10-1859--Affidavits of Jacob Sidener and William S. Williams that they were well acquainted with Peter.  He died in Fayette Co., Ky. about 1818.  Chdn were George, Peter Jr., John G., Patsey Moore who md. John Barton, Thomas L., Robert, William S., Nancy and Blackwell Moore.  Also Jane McClanahan. [Vir. Soldiers of 1776, by Burgess, p. 678]

Joshua Barton and Mary Amos Barton moved to bourbon county about Jan 1795. They had several children between living in Maryland and Kentucky. Their children are Nicholas b. @ 1785, Joshua b. @ 1787, John b. @ 1788, Benjamin b. Jan 31, 1790, Thomas Amos b. 1794, Elijah b. 1796, William b. 1798, another William b. July 1, 1800 and Abraham b. @ 1804 who was married to Catherine Cumbers @ 1825. I have more on spouses and some of the children born to all these siblings if that would help too.
