The name of your first known ancestor: Ross C. Barton Sr.
Where was your ancestor born?: Georgia
Ross Barton was my grandfather and he died in 1989. he lived the first part of his life in Northern Georgia. Some of his sisters were Mamie and Lulabelle from Mobile Alabama. My mother has a cousin who is still living --Tom Jones. My grandfather lived the last part of his life in Akron, Ohio and retired in Florida. He married Bernice Elrod Barton. My grandmother died last year. Anyone who recognizes these names and can get me started--i would appreciate it.
