SABINE PARISH, LOUISIANA
William Green Barton (who md. Rhoda "Rhodie" Hughes), a descendants of Isaac Barton and Nancy Snow, resided in Sabine Parish. They eventually moved to Henderson Co., TX. According to a letter sent to Dottie Lewis by Vinnie (Dupree) Knippers, Green Barton's daughter said she was Irish. I don't know if that Irish came from the Barton or Hughes side.
