James Barton died in a sawmill(?) accident about 1888 or 1887. Where the accident occurred is not known, but his wife, Mary Ann Barton, was expecting their baby and was living in Blue Mountain, Yell? County, AR. Her brother, John Beason, owned a black smith shop in Bellville, Yell Co., AR.  His dau., Minnie Fuller, lived in Wister, OK in 1948.  John's grandson was Joe Carl Beason.

James and Mary Ann Barton's child was named Osa Ola Barton

Mary Ann and Osa moved to Indian Territory.  Neither of them were listed on the 1900 Indian Territory Census (Osa would have been 12 years old at the time).

Mary Ann (Beason) Barton/Collins/Bunyard, died in 1900 and was said to be buried in Fanshawe, OK, but her grave has not been located.  Her last name at time of death is not certain.  In 1948, Osa Ola (at 60 years of age) md. J. R. Rush [Rash?] in Fanshawe, OK.
